A lovely oil on board floral still life painting by British artist Kenneth Mundy (1928-1993). He was from Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire. We have acquired several of his paintings since his widow sadly passed away. We have given these paintings a very gentle wipe so they are ready to hang but of course a professional clean would no doubt enhance them even further, particularly the strips of canvas around the frame.

Thickly laid paint with good use of colour.

Some loss to the bottom of the frame. The bottom strip of canvas needs re attaching to the inside frame. Glue and a steady hand will do the trick or if the painting is to be cleaned professionally, in any event, it can be left till then.
