Condition: Scuffs, marks and cracks to wooden painted frame particulary to the corner joints.

Biography:

John Simpson was a practising specialising in portraits, still life  and landscapes. He studied art at Reigate School and St Martin’s School of Art between 1961 and 1964. John had taught art in various Adult Education and Art Societies around Surrey and Kent and taught portrait painting at Old Coulsdon Art Society.
