Code I3

A rather unusual wooden tool box or sewing box, perhaps, comprising seven drawers of various sizes, all containing rubber lining and also boasting a storage compartment.

The box is far bigger and more imposing than the ubiquitous engineers tool box and is beautifully constructed. The colour is sublime and still has its front cover which is typically missing from many engineers’ tool boxes and outweighs the fact the key is missing. Two handles are damaged, which are highlighted in the photos, yet clearly take nothing away from the box or its functionality. In fact, the drawers coud be used to house a number of items including jewellery as an example.

This box is in very good condition with the brown leather handle showing signs of use, adding to its already charming patina.
