Biography:

Robert Dumont-Smith (1908-1994) was a British painter of landscapes, still life and maritime compositions. He exhibited his paintings at the Royal Society of British Artists in 1939, and at other prestigious exhibitions at the Paris Salon and the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Robert Dumont-Smith was a British painter who was born in 1908.

Since 2000 the record price for this artist at auction is 1,293 USD for Dutch pincks off the coast, sold at Christie’s South Kensington.
