Oil on board of a fox hunting scene. The face of the rider or lack of perhaps adds to the paintings naivity. The dogs have been captured with real character.
Dimensions: H:53cm W:68cm D:2cm.
Condition: Some losses of paint, cracks and craquelure to the dogs which adds lovely patination.
We age this painting to early 20th Ceuntury but could possibly be late 19th Century. We believe the frame may be a later addition.
