Code D12

Three super decorative mid 20th Century German storage boxes. These reallly are eye catching decorative pieces with vibrant graphics and colours not only to the sides but to the tops of the lids. Even the insides have been painted.

They are not only decorative but also fuctional. The boxes read ‘Spielzug Kasten’ which I have found tranlates to ‘Toy box’. They were obviously made to store toys and could continue in the same vain today or used to store a multitude of items. It is for that reason, no doubt, they were well built and were made out of corragated cardborad, perhaps. very sturdy.

These would sit so well in a childs bedroom, playroom or any place in the home as they are extremely versatile. Im also sure interior designers could work wonders with these boxes.

In lovely condition bearing in mind age and use as evidenced in the photos.
