Not your everyday find from a Synagogue.
This is a rather tall wooden sign titled ‘NEW SYNAGOGUE LEGACIES AND DONATIONS IN MEMORIAM’. A rather poignant rememberance sign.
The earliest date is listed as 1921 and the latest as 1976. A 20th Century sign then.
The cracks to both sides and wear and tear are evident as are the naive repairs. One hanging hook is also missing. An interseting talking point nevertheless.
