Brass Ships Bell

Code D25

A lovely brass ships bell with its original clapper in tact. The bell is attached to an old pice of wooden board which in its self carries its own patina.

The bell is engraved with ‘Fiery Cross’. Fiery Cross was a famous British tea clipper ship which sailed in the Great Tea Race of 1866. ‘Fiery Cross’ was also the name of a trawler in the 20th Century and we suspect more likely where the bell originated from.

Early 20th Century.

Condition commensurate with age and use. No cracks.
