A beautiful oil painiting of cloisters on canvas. Judging by the frame; canvas; rope and ring pulls all to verso, we believe this dates the picture to the 19th century but do satisfy yourself as to age.
The picture is signed. The surname is Rene. Rene with an accent on the first ‘e’ likely lends itself to being a French artist but we can’t make out the initial.
The picture is housed in a rather decorative painted wooden frame.
