An authentic shoemakers rack with original saucer castors for easy 360 degrees swivelling making it easy to move around. The colour and knocks here and there from relentless use exudes such stunning patina.

These were used primarily in the East Coast shoe factories prior to the introduction of conveyor belt systems. Pairs of shoe forms were rolled from station to station for the various processes in building a shoe. They were also used in commercial bakeries and other industries.
