A 19th Century oil on canvas painting of woodlands. The rear of the frame has an inscription which we believe reads  ‘Willows on ******** Trent nr (abbreviation for near) Stoke Ferry 1813’.

Stoke Ferry is a village in Norfolk.

It is also dated 1813 to the bottom right hand corner and signed but we are are unable to decipher the signature.

Dimensions are approximate and include the frame: W:59.5cm  H:50cm D:6cm

Some craquelure, small scuffs and marks to painting. Some damage to both bottom corners of the frame.
