19th Century mahogany coin operator machine

A late Victorian mahogany coin sorting machine comprising of trays marked for the denomination of coins, each hinged and with carrying handles.
We suspect there should be a top tray which would feed the trays below to sort the coins. Two of the trays contain a metal mesh. This decorative item is very well made and would look great as a display item.
