An oil on board marked to verso with ‘Ponte Vecchio, Florence’ 20GNS D J Exell and also showing the artist’s address.The painting is housed in a lovely and rather substantial painted wooden frame.

The painting is also signed and dated to bottom right as Derek Exell 62.

The artist was the nephew of listed artist Sidney Dennant-Moss and his wife Joan, and was a former art teacher at Greta Yarmouth College of Art.

Condition: Dirt and scuffs to frame. Painting has small paint losses. Overall in good condition.
