A striking early 20th Century Dutch portrait of a gentleman with a rather impressive beard. An oil on canvas signed lower left, with the artists name appearing to read Gerard Vanhaverbeeke, and dated 1916. A painting that was acquired in Amsterdam, Holland.
There is craquelure and loss of paint in places. The period frame has gaps to the corners and the historic worm has been treated out of an abundance of caution.
