MID 20th CENTURY PAINTING SIGNED AJ CARTMEL CROSSLEY

A lovely abstract paiting by listed artist AJ Cartmel Crossley. Painted on hardboard and dated 1958, the paiting is entitled ‘Andalusian Landscape’ on verso. The artist has layered thick paint in several places making a real statement.
The black background could do with a clean and the frame has some issues as evidenced in the photos though the painting is in overall good condition.
