A seriously fun painting by the artist Marie Parmeter called ‘School girls misbehaving’ depicting scenes of nuns and convent girls. There are a total of 6 like paintings of which a second is also currently listed. The others are to follow in due course. All are oils on canvas.

We have had this painting professionally cleaned and re varnished which has brought out the most vibrant colours, ever so much. This artist has a habit of signing her name in harder to find places within the painting. This one, however, appears not to be signed. The other painting currently listed will give you an idea of what we mean.

20th Century and in very good condition.
